Michele is ANCC board certified and is a Washington state licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). She received her ‘Master of Science in Nursing – Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner’ degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2013, and then continued her training by completing a University of Washington Community-Based Integrated Care Fellowship in 2018. In 2021 she completed a year-long Transgender Health ECHO program through the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center at the Fenway Institute.
Michele has 11 years of experience prescribing mental health medications to veterans, college students, and adults of all ages and walks of life in the outpatient setting. She has completed formal training and consultation in Motivational Interviewing and Telehealth, and considers managing mental health medications, particularly in clients living with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), her specialty.
Michele lives with her family in Bellingham, WA. She is a foodie, loves dogs and cats equally, and one of her favorite things to do is play video games. She enjoys both exploring new places on foot and sitting in her divot on the couch and sipping hot tea. She can bake a pretty mean coconut cream pie.
